We are providing Rosenbauer additional to Hendrickson’s Stabilizers, with our HPAS™ - High Performance Air System. This includes air suspension struts and a customizable height control system.
Hendrickson employees had the opportunity to take a closer look at the innovative Rosenbauer RT on the premises of the company fire department in Judenburg. The electrically powered RT was not just designed to be state of the art in terms of technology. The goal was to meet the future requirements of fire services already today. This makes the RT not just a milestone for Rosenbauer, but also for the entire firefighting industry and Hendrickson is a part of it.
Due to the built-in Energy Backup System, the RT can also run on diesel when needed and is specially designed for use in large cities.
Maneuverability is of the utmost importance for municipal emergency vehicles, especially in urban areas. No other vehicle with comparable extinguishing and transport capacities has such compact dimensions or an equally small turning radius.
Thanks to HPAS™, it is possible to adjust the height of the vehicle so that firefighters can get into the cab easily, but at the same time driving on rough terrain is no problem.
