ULTRA ROD® Torque Rods
ULTRA ROD® All Hendrickson Torque and Transverse rods with ratings of 52K and below utilize the ULTRA ROD design. ULTRA ROD is lighter and more compact than conventional rods. The forged construction produces greater structural integrity, while the unique bonded bushing reduces the friction and heat that damages ordinary bushings - providing longer life and greater payload. ULTRA RODS are available in one or two piece configurations. Torque Rods - Longitudinal torque rods help maintain optimum driveline angles by absorbing axle braking and driving torque. This ultimately reduces vibration and helps prolong the life of driveline components.

Transverse Rods - Provide lateral support for Hendrickson suspensions by transmitting loads directly into the frame, instead of through the suspension. This provides greater stability and roll stiffness as well as keeping the axle centered laterally and controlling axle walkout on walking beam suspensions.

High Confinement Center Bushing
High Confinement Center Bushing is integral to the performance of many Hendrickson walking beam suspensions. By encasing a high-density rubber bushing inside a curled metal sleeve, we combine the outstanding elasticity of our proprietary rubber compound with the high tensile strength of steel. Tests prove this design can double, or even triple, the service life of other rubber bushings, meaning far fewer rebushings over the life of your vehicle.

Rubber Beam End Bushings
Rubber beam end bushings provide flexibility between the beam and the axle to absorb the forces of braking and accelerating. The unique Hendrickson Bar Pin Beam End Connection can extend end bushing service life up to 50 percent, and allows up to 3/8 inches axle alignment at the beam end for improved tire life.

TRI-FUNCTIONAL® Bushings
TRI-FUNCTIONAL Bushings are designed with vertically oriented cavities in solid rubber, molded around an inner metal sleeve. The bushing absorbs vertical and horizontal forces resulting from braking, acceleration, and uneven road surfaces. So durable, it is warranted for up to 7 years or 750,000 miles, depending on application. Featured in INTRAAX, VANTRAAX, and HT Series trailer suspensions.

Steel Leaf Springs
It is no accident that Hendrickson supplies over 75% of all OEM parabolic taper leaf and multi-leaf springs, 100% of OEM truck and tractor air suspension main support members, and approximately 50% of the trailer springs in North America. That's because our spring design and manufacturing are the most advanced in the world. So when you need steel leaf springs, it makes sense to choose original quality genuine Hendrickson parts.

Air Springs
Choosing an air spring other than the original can alter the performance of a suspension. Variations in internal bumpers and flexmember bias can affect how much weight is carried by a given amount of air, which could mean a front axle in a tandem weighs out differently from the rear. That's why it's important to spec only genuine Hendrickson air springs.

Rubber Load Cushions
Hendrickson load cushions are engineered for outstanding stability and light weight, and are available in several durometer hardness readings to suit specific applications. Unique internal ribs deflect to absorb road shocks when the vehicle is empty, but compress and stiffen under load to provide stability when needed most.

Shocks
Shocks help limit the downward travel of air suspension. Hendrickson selects shocks with specific strokes, seal designs, bore diameters, and dampening characteristics which enhance the performance of the other components and minimize the stress absorbed by the frame and suspension. Ensure optimum suspension performance by replacing with original equipment shocks.

Frame and Spring Hangers
High strength steel hangers are engineered for maximum durability in the most severe applications. Imitation hangers may fit some suspensions, but they will not have the material enhancements and manufacturing expertise that Hendrickson brings to every component they make. Faulty hangers can endanger the suspension, the load, and the driver, so choose only Hendrickson Genuine Parts.

Ride Height Control Valves
Hendrickson's zero delay minimum dead band height control valve is integral to the EDGE System for HAS Air Suspensions. The valve offers consistent, repeatable operation for precise ride height control, maintaining proper driveline angles to prevent suspension-related driveline vibration. Only Hendrickson's ride height control valve has been designed into the system from the ground up. Genuine Parts.

Air Controls
Hendrickson offers many manual and automatic controls to exhaust air suspensions, various air and electric-over-air liftable controls, as well as height control and pressure protection valves. Our engineering staff includes personnel with air control knowledge unique in the industry.

Brake Components
With INTRAAX®, we introduced a new, efficient brake system using 10-inch long, extended-service profile, hardened S-cams and beam-mounted brake chambers. Bronze S-cam bushings; thick, coined braked shoes with hardened wear areas; and heavy-duty hardware complete the package, giving INTRAAX and VANTRAAX® superior brake performance.

Pivot Connections
Hendrickson offers two different pivot connection systems: QUIK-ALIGN® and a welded collar. QUIK-ALIGN simplifies axle alignment and uses a specially designed shear-type bolt combined with eccentric and concentric alignment collars. The welded collar connection uses a 11/8-inch diameter threaded pivot bolt with steel collars. The axle is aligned, then the collars are welded in place.
