AR2™ Free Bushing Promotion Stretched to June 30
WOODRIDGE, Ill. – Hendrickson extended to June 30 its offer of free bushings for truck owners and operators converting RT™ / RTE™ suspensions to air ride with the AR2™ conversion kit.

Fleet and owner operators upgrading to an AR2 conversion kit through the new deadline receive two center-beam bushings and four end-beam bushings free, a value worth up to $875.

“We are in the prime season for walking-beam maintenance. So what better incentive to upgrade your steel spring suspension to an air ride than with free bushings,” reports Edward Powderly, aftermarket segment manager for Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems.

Proven for more than five years in global vocational markets, AR2 brings North American fleets and owner operators the benefits of an air-ride suspension, a smooth ride and enhanced equipment protection, without losing the advantages of the RT / RTE walking-beam suspension.

The patented Hendrickson AR2 draws on the heritage of the industry’s original walking-beam air-ride suspension, the AR, introduced in 1957.

AR2 features air springs that constantly adjust to changing road and load conditions. The use of dual height control valves maintains a constant ride height. The smoother ride of AR2 helps reduce vibration to the vehicle, on-board equipment, hardware and electronics for improved service life, fewer repairs and reduced downtime.

Hendrickson builds the AR2 with heavy-duty components to meet the rigorous demands of the most rugged applications. While maneuvering off-road, its heavy-duty trailing arm / saddle assembly and walking beams work together to deliver maximum diagonal wheel articulation, up to 14 inches, for optimum traction and weight distribution.

Featuring premium shocks and ULTRA ROD® Plus transverse torque rods, AR2 proves ideal in a variety of vocational applications including dump, refuse and crane vehicles with capacity ratings of 40,000 to 46,000 pounds.

The conversion kit includes two trailing arms, shock absorbers, transverse torque rods, height control valves, air springs and frame hangers. The existing beam assembly, cross tube and longitudinal torque rods remain from the RT / RTE suspension.

AR2 conversion kits can be installed at service centers and OEM dealerships across North America.
