Magnus Hendrickson to appear at SAE Conference - October – 7-9, Rosemont, Illinois
ITASCA, Ill. – Hendrickson will be co-exhibiting with SAE’s Mobility Historical Committee, booth V3, October 7-9, in Rosemont, Illinois at the Donald E. Stephens convention center. Hendrickson will be displaying their 1928 Hendrickson built truck equipped with the Hendrickson walking beam suspension.
Attendees should make it a priority to stop by the Hendrickson booth for a commemorative Magnus Hendrickson gift and enter themselves in special drawing in celebration of 101 years of Hendrickson innovations. Wayne Hendrickson, Magnus’ grandson, will be at SAE event as well. An interactive presentation between Magnus Hendrickson (played by Bill Wilson) and Hendrickson Global Chief Engineer, Ashley Dudding, will be played out in one of the scheduled conference rooms at the SAE Conference. The presentation will cover Magnus’ innovations and how Hendrickson has built upon and added to them over the last 101 years.
In addition at the SAE conference there will be an announcement of the annual Magnus Hendrickson $5,500 Innovation Award in the commercial vehicle category. Plus Hendrickson is pleased to announce the Edward D. Hendrickson/SAE Engineering Scholarship program increasing the scholarship from $1,000 to $5,000 annual award.
In rounding off the event the SAE conference will be used to kick-off the Hendrickson 100 year commemorative book which can be purchased from SAE with royalties going to the Edward D. Hendrickson/SAE Engineering Scholarship fund. By dropping off your business card you will be entered into a drawing for Hendrickson’s [H]undred book.
